London Fashion Week 2015 saw the return of Savita Kaye’s House of iKons team back at the prestigious Hilton Hotel in London’s Paddington, this time with an extra surprise up their sleeve – Pop iKon Navin Kundra.
Fashion designer, Rajni K Sethi roped in Navin to perform his breathtaking Hindi Mix Cover of “50 Shades” as the models teased him on the ramp (or was he teasing the models?). It’s not an understatement to say that they set the catwalk alight with an extremely sensual show! The ladies were wearing gorgeous gowns of ivory and whites with some sparkling gold extremely classy gown designs thrown in for good measure, whilst Navin wore his signature black tie tuxedo.
Navin’s performance added to the electric atmosphere that had been building and with his interaction with the runway ladies you can see why this young man has built a solid fanbase of 3 million plus people and has achieved an incredible six number one singles in the Asian Charts – his new album “The Collection” is out now and you can get your copy here!
Savita’s House of iKons has been conceived with an ethos based upon the concept of celebrating the new generation of global fashion talent. From start to finish of both shows you could see how much time and meticulous effort has gone into ensuring that they showcase the best talent, with the emphasis on new and innovative fashion.
Already known for launching the careers of emerging designers, Savita Kaye’s ambition is for House of iKons to become a global brand and judging by yet another success at Sunday’s shows it certainly won’t be long before the all of the World’s top designers start knocking on House of iKons doors to be exhibited.
The show benefits from being live streamed via iKons global media partner Fashion One TV, which also enables House of iKons shows to reach worldwide audiences to over 100 million viewers, in 120 countries.
The show opened to a thumping Jessie J ‘Hour Glass’ track and host Cinde Rella who was wearing an amazing Albert Martincich multi brightly coloured dress. Johny Pach who we were led to believe was held up in Hollywood with filming commitments, made an instant impact as Co Host as he was carried out by two burly minders and a third escorting behind with his case. The entertaining hosts swiftly introduced us to Princes Trust ambassador Syd Nadim.
House of iKons have been working alongside The Prince’s Trust for the past couple of years now raising much needed funds for the charity to help inspire the next future generation. Fund raising on the night saw three high couture one-off pieces raffled with tickets selling fast amongst the expectant crowd.
